 ions with young children. Drawing on neuroscience\, this lecture will: (1)
  reframe challenging behavior as dysregulation\, (2) highlight the limits 
 of using reinforcers and consequences to manage behavior\, and (3) emphasi
 ze the power of the 4 Cs—curiosity\, compassion\, connection\, and co-re
 gulation—to support children in distress.\n\nCari Ebert\, MS\, CCC-SLP\,
  is a pediatric speech-language pathologist\, consultant\, author\, and in
 ternationally recognized speaker. Known for her animated personality and h
 igh-energy speaking style\, Cari engages audiences with both her professio
 nal expertise and her personal journey as the parent of an autistic son.\n
