Dr. Farnaz Abdollahi is a Data Scientist at Intel Corporation, where she leads data engineering and analytics initiatives serving thousands of customers and developers. She previously worked as a Research Scientist at Intel and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, focusing on human–machine interaction and assistive technologies. Dr. Abdollahi earned her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, with research in neural engineering and telerehabilitation. She is currently the Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Chicago Section and is recognized for her leadership in promoting diversity and innovation in science and engineering.

Brian Schmitt is the Chief Information Security Officer at Mary Greeley Medical Center, where he leads cybersecurity strategy and data protection initiatives. With over two decades of experience in information technology and security, he has held leadership roles including Vice President of Product and Information Security at Dwolla and Global Director of IT Security and Compliance at Danfoss. His work has focused on advancing secure digital systems and fostering innovation in technology management. Brian has also collaborated with organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and is passionate about bridging technology, leadership, and global collaboration to drive meaningful impact.
