 rvation biologist Robert Rockwell is the director of animal 
 research at La Pérouse Bay Tundra Biology Station\, the prim
 ary research site of the collaborative Hudson Bay Project. H
 is research is in population dynamics\, community ecology\, 
 lifetime reproductive success\, and the genetic structure an
 d gene flow of migratory waterfowl such as snow geese\, empe
 ror geese\, northern pintails and spectacled eiders. Rockwel
 l is a research associate with the American Museum of Natura
 l History Ornithology Department and a professor at CUNY Cit
 y College. He holds a PhD in biology from Queen's University
