Born and rai sed in Hong Kong\, Professor Yu is a leading expert in inter national intellectual property and communications law whose work focuses on international trade\, international and comp arative law and the transition of the legal systems in China and Hong Kong. He is the author or editor of three books\, including the four-volume reference book Intellectual Prope rty and Information Wealth: Issues and Practices in the Digi tal Age. Before joining Drake University\, he taught at Mich igan State University College of Law and founded its nationa lly renowned Intellectual Property and Communications Law Pr ogram.
